The Nigerian Air force recruitment which is meant for graduates is known as DSSC which also means Direct Short Service Commission. It’s a presidential Commission just like those who went to the Nigerian Defence Academy for the period of 5 years. Those who Join the Nigerian Air Force as a graduate are given the rank of Flying Officer and are paid about N200,000 and above. Requirements Needed To Join The Nigerian Air Force As A Graduate

  • Be a Nigerian as defined in the constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
  • You must be between the Age of 22 and 28 years at the time of applying for the recruitment. For doctors and lawyers, the age limit can reach up to 33 years.
  • You must be medically and physically fit.
  • Your height must not be less than 1.68m for Male and 1.65m for female.
  • You must not have been convicted by any Court of Law or have any criminal record.
  • You must Posses a minimum of first of not less than second class lower division from a recognized university or HND from a recognized polytechnic and not less than lower credit
  • Applicants less serving members of the Armed Forces must have completed their NYSC Scheme or provide a letter of exemption.
  • You must have a valid birth certificate endorsed by A hospital Court or National population commission.
  • You have to Posses a certificate of State of Origin.
  • You must be recommended by at least two recognized referees who must attest to the applicants character and Integrity.

  1. You need to visit the Nigerian Air Force recruitment website www.recruitment.airforce.mil.ng and create an account.
