The Immigration Service as you all know is one of the strongest paramilitary organization in Nigeria which is in charge of Visa Issuing and Passport. They are also in charge of immigration in the country.

The Immigration Recruits who are under training are entitled to some training allowance which is paid to them at each of every month during their training. This training allowance is to sustain them throughout their period of training as the immigration Service will stop the training allowance immediately you graduate and become a full member of the immigration Service.

After we wrote a post about the NDLEA Training Allowance, many of our readers who are interested in joining the immigration Service has sent in some messages for us to write about the immigration training allowance if they are entitled to one.

The answer the the question above is yes. The Immigration Service NIS is entitled to training allowance just like any other Paramilitary Agency in Nigeria. Though the training allowance for each service is different from others. In this post, we will explain everything you need to know about the immigration Service.

The Nigeria Immigration Training Allowance is Placed at about N22,000 – N38,000 and it is paid based on qualification. Those who applied using SSCE certificate are paid lower than those who applied using HND certificate. As we have explained earlier, the Nigerian Immigration Training Allowance is paid to on trainees and will immediately cut off once you graduate and become a full member of the commission.
